In this course you will learn about:
- the strategic value of Social Media
- issues like privacy, intellectual property and access to social media
- a wide range of social media tools and how you can use them for: increasing collaboration, creating content, tagging and social bookmarking, blogging and microblogging, creating and sharing images and videos, podcasting and setting up online radio
The course consists of 11 lessons, ranging from approximately 20 to 90 minutes duration, grouped into two units:Unit 1 - Social Media for development
This unit illustrates the basic concepts related to Web 2.0, social media, social networking and user generated content and describes their strategic value for an organization.
